Odell Public Library Friends

The Odell Public Library Friends meet monthly in the library program room to bring together a group of citizens who actively support the library through advocacy, volunteer services and fundraising in order to enhance the Morrison community.

The Odell Public Library Friends stay busy supporting activities which include Lifelong Learning Opportunities featuring speakers on various topics. They have also planned and organized cultural bus trips to Chicago and other locations.

The Friends major fundraising activity is their Annual Book & Bake Sale conducted in the fall, but they also raise money through various other activities to help support the needs of the library. Through their hard work, the Friends raise about $3,000/year to help the library.
